"Arts for Social Inclusion: Energize Europe through Positive Participation is a youth exchange that will bring together 49 young people (7 participants from 6 partners from different countries, 6 participants and 1 group leader). The participants will come from backgrounds that have been linked with social exclusion such as those who have dropped out of school, the long term unemployed and those lower on the socio-economic scale. Each group will be lead by a young person currently working in the field of social inclusion in order to provide direction to the young people and share best practice. The overall focuses of the project will be to explore, raise awareness of and fight barriers to social inclusion that are central to the participants, and to propound the cornerstone European values of solidarity and brotherhood.
The main aim of the project will be to build the confidence and trust of the participants through the innovative use of a variety of art forms, while educating them in how to improve their participation in society, both in the short and long term, without compromising their individuality and integrity.
Participants will also use non-formal methods to each research and discuss social inclusion and the factors that affect it within their own countries, then work together multi-nationally, using input from their own culture, to raise awareness of and address these issues and the methods in which problems may be resolved. This will be done using the art forms they prefer, thereby promoting and presenting their culture and at the same time becoming part of a larger group and tackling a wider issue. Additionally, time will be given each day towards self-reflection outside of the activities and for young people to approach any topics with staff that they may feel are too private for them to address with the whole group."
The end result of this self-discovery and artistic development will be a 10-15 minute filmed presentation from each group that addresses one of the issues of social inclusion. After the course,  These final videos will offer an understanding of the way in which the constituent countries of the European Union can work together to break down barriers, whilst also celebrating and showcasing their beauty and passion. The films will then be disseminated to partners, relevant organizations and the participants themselves through as many different means as possible."
Originally the project should be done on February but due to the low cash flow and the delays of National Agency we have postponed all the process in order to implement the activities in the best way.
By the way, we have foreseen an Advanced Planned Visit for the days of 9 and 11 of February 2015  and the project from 8 to 15 of March 2015. Please, keep in mind that since we still don't have the contract we are not sure about these dates, we are in communication with our National Agency to get any feedback and confirmation. So, this e-mail is to notice you about the project and if you are in and you can ensure your full participation on it (finding participants and cooperation on travel arrangement, dissemination, etc..).

In 2012, Youth Center of Epirus, in collaboration with Youth Club START and Latvian Foster Families Association, implemented a youth exchange “A Volunteer. To be or not to be?”, which was about voluntarism, related to EU citizenship and rural development. It was a successful youth exchange, many voluntarism actions were done, the local community was attracted to volunteerism and participants of the project found it very useful for them. After that project we saw a need for a similar project but with a planned bigger impact on local community, so this youth exchange will be like a continuous one to the previous youth exchange project about volunteerism, only this time we plan to achieve bigger impact, sustainable result and involve much more young people. And what’s very important – with help of volunteerism we would like to develop our region, as well as to share good practices and ideas on volunteerism, development of rural areas and environment with other young people from Europe. We have had some discussions with authorities of our region Pogoni and also got some advices on things we could improve in our area with a help of voluntarism. That’s how born the idea of this youth exchange project related to environment, rural development and volunteerism.
Briefly, the aims of this youth exchange are:
 To exchange experiences, good practices and create new ideas about volunteerism to develop rural areas and care of environment among many young people. In such way volunteerism to develop rural areas and to take care of environment will be popularized by young people in their home countries after the exchange;
 To take care of environment of Epirus and to develop the rural area of Pogoni region and to promote this idea among the community of our region. All participants will be involved in several volunteerism activities that will contribute for development of region of Pogoni and care of environment of several places in Epirus;
 To develop sustainable collaboration between involved youth groups / organizations; to develop ideas for volunteerism actions to develop rural areas or to care of environment in the future;
 To discover and share cultural similarities and differences of involved partner countries, in order to promote intercultural learning among young people.
 To reach objectives of the project, participants during the youth exchange activity will join common activities related to volunteerism, rural development and of course, intercultural learning. NATUR-ALL TOGETHER, is a youth exchange of  4 countries, serves to show young participants the real importance of human relations, beauty of nature and being  part of a community. As technology develops, people engagement and communication change and wear quite other aspects. People complain about how their lives have become so digital and less social while they have no power to resist to the convenience that technology is serving as a solution to everyday rush. Social media, technology, video/flash game creates a world without social and interactive relations and people don't have enough to change this vicious circle because of their daily struggle to live although they are very much aware of the problem. Life has become so digital and electronic that people don't realize the beauty in life anymore. Most people are addicted to social media and flash games which turns such beneficial communication technologies into bad habits. Being a part of a community and interacting with other people have become burdens for those who spend most of their lives looking towards a screen and not seeing anything.
People are living in big houses, multi-floor apartments and really far from green and nature. All they see is the chaos of everyday struggle of people who try to make ends meet. Young people try to build their lives from the very early ages and miss colorful moments life brings them since they either don't have time or don't prefer to exchange technology with it.  All age groups are subject to this alienation to feelings and life itself. Youth, however, are more susceptible to alienation since they have never lived in any other form, born into this virtual world. NATURALL wants to change this circle and introduce this mechanic youth another way where they can feel productive, happy and alive. Social skills and productivity of youth will be fostered and they will realize how they can actually live without online games, excessive exploitation of social media and city cram.  NATURALL is originated in a small village because youth will go back to where life has begun and realize what they miss every day. Activities and project schedule has been created in a way that young people will create, enjoy and produce; all three verbs that no other city facility or mobile application can serve at the same time. They will be socially engaged with their friends, build cognitive and social skills and also be more alert the life that keeps passing around them. Specific objectives of NATURALL can be listed as below:
Specific objectives of NATURALL can be listed as below; - Young people will understand how relationships matter in life more than virtual friendships - Young people will interact with life both mentally and physically during activities so that they will realize what they have been missing - Village culture coming from the past will tighten up the bonds of youth with their past and elder surrounding - Dealing with farms and field work will give them a sense of appreciation on what they obtain from life
-  Interactive communication and social abilities of participants will develop in a greater level because they will be in relation with new cultures, new life styles and all age groups - Young people will understand how change may affect their lives and act on this thought for the rest of their lives.  PARTICIPANT PROFILE: There will be 24 young participants with equal gender balance in the project process. Ages of participants will be between 18-30. During the project preparation process, selection of participants are decided to have certain criteria; -being eager to work, ability to work with groups

10. "Project HEALTH", 5 - 12 iunie 2015, schimb de tineri - Epirus, Grecia
Au participant: Cătălina Costandache, Camelia Ciocîrlan, Bogdan Abrudan, Adrian Alexa

Health of young people always has been a very important topic. In 2013, we implemented a youth exchange based on topic of health and active lifestyle and all participants came to a conclusion that for many young people (aged 15-30) education about health provided by their parents and by formal education is not enough to realize the importance of taking care of their health. During that project, we also came up with conclusions that it’s shocking how few young people live an actual healthy lifestyle with its all forms of interpretation and how many of us knew young people suffering from serious health problems.
We want to carry out this project, because we believe that bringing young people together for an international youth exchange can be amazing experience of directly involved participants for their intercultural learning and also it would be a great way how to make young people to be interested in tackling this issue of health situation among young people of Europe. We hope that this project will give us a chance to influence also young people of our region to pay attention to their health and to popularize this issue of health and to give young people some motivation and directions for tackling the issue.
Briefly, the aims of this youth exchange are:
 To motivate young people to pay attention to their health situation,
 To give education to other young people about health issues and active lifestyle,
 To create and implement ideas (projects) for popularization of healthy and active lifestyle among friends and local communities and to give education to young people about skills needed to implement their ideas,
 To make young people to realize that need for an active and healthy lifestyle is something in common for all young people and that participating in activities with aim to tackle health issues can be something that can bring young people from different countries together,
 To improve cultural awareness among the participants of the project.
 To reach objectives of the project, participants during the youth exchange activity will join common activities related to healthy lifestyle, project/action design and intercultural learning. Planned activities you can find in a document called Activity Time Table; all planned activities and working methods are going to support non-formal learning of participants.
 Project will involve 25 participants from Greece, Latvia, Lithuania Italy and Romania – 4 participants (16-25) and one group leader from each country. Implementation of youth exchange will be held in village called Koukli, in Epirus region of Greece.

Context - background
The theme of our project is to develop yourself by doing something good for someone else . There are several topics: the disabled, minorities and social dialogue . There is a big difference in the care and welfare in the various European lands. Our first youth exchange showed that the differences within Europe are great in the field of taking care for minorities in a country. ( theme of the exchange was anti - discrimination) . Basis on this information, we have devised this into a project, so that young people can develop by doing voluntary work in the Netherlands itself.
Objectives of the project
- Young people learn in ten days of each other's culture through activities and to enter into dialog with each other.
- Young people learn to know themselves better in ten days , to learn from each other and gain new insights into helping other people.
- Young people learn in ten days to do voluntary work for  minorities (how you can help other people) - Young people learn in ten days skills to discover their talents and develop.
Number and profile of participants
The participants will be in the age of 16-25 years ( which is the focus ). Six youngsters and one group leader from four countries will participate. The group will consist out of boys and girls (the same amount) and  the diversity within the group will be large . We want different young people from different backgrounds involved in the project . Thinking of ( potential ) drop outs , youth who have had nothing to do with  volunteer work, young people who are active as volunteers , etc. It is also important that young people can make themselves understood in English and can understand English.
Results:
- Young people know more about each other's culture , mutual contacts and new friendships are formed.
- Young people have come to know themselves better and have learned to reflect themselves. They also have felt what it is like to volunteer.
- Young people have discovered some of their talents which they can use in the future .
- Young people have learned to be open to other cultures , visions and possibilities and come out stronger.
Potential longer -term benefits :
- Young people are committed more in the minority in their own country.
- Young people learn how to prepare and carry out an activity , which they can use for activities they wish to carry out in their own country .
- Young people learn to reflect themselves and may have benefit as they are (starting ) professional.

Recalling that 100 years ago, young people from all over Europe were sent across the continent to go off to war, in this Youth Exchange we'd like to gather youngsters from some of the main countries involved in the First World War and, while having great fun together, having also the chance to think about how things have changed over the last century and ...why not?... to debate around how things will be within 100 years!

Needless to say, our idea is not of getting into boring details of historical events or studying dates! We'd rather take part in attractive and dynamic activities, celebrating how easy, enriching and funny it might be to get to know each other and, at the same time, we'll explore interesting facts through games and excercises such as simulations, role-playings, and “historical settings” to get the atmosphere...

Practical features:

Youth Exchange in Asturias, our beautiful region in the northern coast of SPAIN!

6 countries involved

5 people from each national group (4 young people + 1 group leader)

Age: 18 – 23 years old (no age limit for the group leader)

Venue: a very cosy youth hostel, located in a natural environment at only 8 Km from Oviedo (capital of the region).

Dates: 1 week at the end of July – beginning of August. (July 27th - August 5th)

Working language: English.

The young participants have to be willing to communcate each other, but don't need to speak “a very good English” and at any time during the exchange the information provided will be supproted by non verbal communication and translations whenever needed. (The group leader, on the other hand, should be able to fluently participate in the preparation/evaluation meetings and, if necessary, help the rest of the group with translations).

Activities and methodology: based in Non Formal Education, the Youth Exchange will combine outdoor activities such as hiking, sport, city tours etc. with team-buildings, roleplayings, language “express classes”, and many other activities to help young people to get to know each other and explore different cultures.

Au participat: Carmina Elena, AUGUSTINA DENISA TODEA, Suzana-Iuliana Lupoian

“Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day; teach a man to fish and you feed him for a lifetime” . Reflecting on the
quote above, we realized the strength of social entrepreneurship, which is using the method of entrepreneurship in bringing innovative solutions on social problems through “teaching how to fish” instead of “giving fishes”.
Firstly, we organize this project to promote value of using entrepreneurship approach for social problems, and to encourage non-governmental organization to use this model to apply on the issues they are working on.
Secondly, through the training we want to realize the entrepreneurial potential of young people and to encourage
them to use the potential in bringing positive impact.

Participants will be visiting entrepreneurial organizations, hosting interesting guest speakers and in an informal way
learning about public speaking, business models, market research and creativity. We believe that young people have
an important role in addressing social problems in their communities and if they are empowered they can act as change
agents in their societies. We want to pass this tool to the young leaders and promote it for bringing a social change.
Aim
The training course aims to promote entrepreneurial approach for bringing social change, to make young people
learn from the context of social entrepreneurship in Poland, and to equip them with competencies and tools needed
for initiating social venture ideas in their societies.
